2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign up using a third-party provider such as Google, we receive basic profile information from that service.

Billing Information

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles billing data under their own privacy policy.

Website and Search Data

When you connect Google Search Console, we access your search performance data for verified domains using the webmasters.readonly scope. This includes impressions, clicks, click-through rates, average position, keyword rankings, and indexed pages.

This data is stored on our servers for the duration of your active subscription to power keyword recommendations, content plans, and performance reports. When you disconnect your Google Search Console account or delete your Rank SEO account, your stored Search Console data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Rank SEO’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Usage Data

We automatically record information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, device type, browser, operating system, and IP address.

Analytics Data

We use analytics tools to understand how people use the platform and to guide product improvements. This may include aggregated and anonymized interaction data.

The information we collect is used to:

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve the Rank SEO platform
  • Generate SEO insights, keyword recommendations, and optimized content based on your search data

How We Use Google Search Console Data

Google Search Console data is used exclusively to provide services to you, the individual account holder. Specifically, we use your Search Console data to:

  • Build a tailored content plan based on your search performance
  • Draft articles targeting keywords relevant to your domain
  • Display performance metrics (impressions, clicks, rankings) within your dashboard

Your Search Console data is not sold, licensed, or shared with any third parties. It is not used for advertising, retargeting, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Rank SEO service to you. We do not use your Search Console data to train general-purpose AI or machine learning models. Any AI-powered features within Rank SEO use your data solely to generate recommendations and content specific to your account.

  • Role-based access controls that restrict internal data access to authorized personnel only

No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work continuously to strengthen our safeguards and address any identified vulnerabilities promptly.

5. Third-Party Services

We partner with trusted third-party services to operate the platform. These include:

  • Google Search Console - to access your website’s search performance data in read-only mode
  • AI and language model providers - to power keyword research, content generation, image creation, and SEO recommendations. When you use these features, relevant context (such as keywords, topic summaries, and content briefs derived from your search performance data) may be sent to third-party AI services for processing. We work with providers that offer commercial API terms with data protection commitments. We do not send your full Search Console dataset to AI providers, only the minimum context needed to fulfill your specific request.
  • Stripe - for secure payment processing
  • Hosting providers - for infrastructure and data storage
  • Analytics providers - to understand platform usage and guide improvements

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Data is shared with these services only to the extent necessary to operate and improve the platform. Each third-party service is subject to its own privacy policy and data handling practices.

Rank SEO uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Revoke third-party access at any time. You can disconnect your Google Search Console account from Rank SEO through your account settings. You can also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page. Once access is revoked, your stored Search Console data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

9. Age Requirement

Rank SEO is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 18, we will take prompt steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform.
